The current legal and regulatory position of the Office, together with its commitment to responsible handling of personal information.

Privacy, confidentiality and responsible information handling are matters of governance.

The Windmill Family Office is committed to handling personal information lawfully, fairly, transparently and with appropriate discretion.

Personal data is collected and used only where necessary for legitimate family-office, governance, correspondence, professional or legal purposes. The Office seeks to ensure that information is relevant, accurate, appropriately protected and retained no longer than reasonably required.

Access to personal information is limited to those who need it for an authorised purpose. Information is not sold and is disclosed only where necessary to professional advisers, service providers, public authorities or other recipients where there is a lawful basis for doing so.

The Office applies data-protection principles through proportionate governance, confidentiality, data minimisation, secure handling and respect for individual rights.

Roger Windmill is the data controller for personal information received through the Windmill Family Office website and Office email addresses.
